![]() Friday will mark the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination. Kennedy's legacy has had a profound impact on so many, myself included. While watching the many retrospectives on television over the last few weeks, I cannot help but to feel some of the sorrow many of you experienced in the aftermath of the tragic events on Elm Street in Dallas. I've poured over JFK's remarks and speeches. I was particularly struck by a passage in a speech the President was scheduled to deliver later in Austin on November 22, 1963. "For this county is moving and it must not stop. It cannot stop. For this is a time for courage and a time for challenge. Neither conformity nor complacency will do." It is still a challenging time for Americans and for our Party, but I know you are all committed to help us move forward. -Tyler Clark, Chairman
